In tribute to the record breaking England captain Peter May, this cricket shirt is a beautiful recreation of the shirt worn in 1958 against the West Indies where May batted with Colin Cowdrey for more than eight hours to achieve the world record fourth wicket stand of 411 runs. May was widely considered one of England’s best post-war batsmen, known for his technical excellence and unwavering focus at the crease.

Our shirt is beautifully tailored in flexible, breathable super soft jersey cotton. With a broad soft 1950s style collar, and perfect depth popover, this will maintain sartorial elegance both at the crease, or in the pavilion.

Sizing Guide:

The jersey cotton has a soft, stretchy, almost pyjama-like feel to it, so each shirt has a certain amount of give. Go up a size if you prefer a loose, slouchy fit. All shirts are cut with plenty of length in the body, and designed to be worn tucked in. The darts in the shoulders add structure and shape but still allow plenty of shoulder movement for bowlers.
